Message from our Executive Director, Paulette Hill
In 1988 a small group of concerned community members saw the need to provide a safe haven for women and children living in violent homes. Over the past 25 years Serenity has become a recognized leader in direct services and community collaboration because of our efforts to address the complex issues surrounding domestic violence.
Our Mission Statement reads: "Serenity is a catalyst for change in domestic violence by providing caring client support and the life skills necessary for healthy independence, while expanding community understanding".
In Spring of 2014 we will move into a new building that will house our shelter and administrative offices. This new facilty will allow us to expand our services to better fulfill our mission and meet the needs of survivors of domestic violence.
I invite you to help us make a difference in the lives of the brave survivors we meet by giving your time, talent, resources, or money.
